A while back, I started doing this thing on a website where my readers would ask my characters questions and they'd get their response. This is Aoife Enchantress' answers from my story Enchantress. The story will be featured in A Collection of Short Stories. Feel free to ask her more questions!
Favorite childhood memory: I’ve been in the mortal realm for thousands of years and have had many childhoods. It depends on which childhood you speak of. One of my favorites was when I was a wee little girl in 600 AD. I was adopted by a young couple in Ireland. We were a small family in the midst of the forest. I oftentimes played with the wildlife, wrestling with bear cubs, and ran with the wolves. Biggest dream: To prove my innocence and get back to Wunder-Laend. I’d love to show Anwyll Wunder-Laend too as it had many forests when I was banished and he loves them. Why am I self kept and quiet: I just don’t like talking. I’d rather observe. This is why I don’t like talking to people too. Well, and people are often rude. Am I left or right brain: I’m not a brain at all... Much less a left brain or a right brain. I am an enchantress... What even is a left brain or right brain. That’s utter nonsense! How can you only have half a brain, especially one side? I do not understand you mortals and the concepts of your brains... Favorite food: Teriyaki chicken. Greatest Fear: Never being enough for the person I’m meant to be with, or even worst, never getting to be with whom I am supposed to be with. Favorite Song: Tir Na Nog - Celtic Woman Favorite Holiday: In Wunder-Laend we had this holiday, almost like your holiday christmas. When I was younger, before I was banished, I loved it greatly. We would exchange gifts but not the same as you do. Our gifts were stories, memories, happiness, warmth, and such. If we had a fond memory with someone, we’d give them that memory. We’d have to go to enchanters and enchantresses in order to preserve the memory though. The stories were often stories we made up in honor of the recipient. We would also go to the forests and choose a tree that we’d take care of for the next year in order to keep the forests alive. Favorite color: Cobalt blue. It’s so pretty! |
